Where is My State Refund 2020

“Where is my state refund 2020”: A guide to finding your money fast

“Where is my state refund 2020?”

That is the question I start asking myself form the second I submit my tax forms! This is probably what you are typing into google every week as you are eagerly waiting for it to arrive.

State refunds tend to take a little longer to send out than your federal refund. If you’ve just submitted your state refund, then you will need to wait a few weeks before you start wondering where it is.

The length of time you will be waiting can vary vastly by state and when you plan on submitting your forms. For most states, it typically takes 14-21 days to return your refund after filing online. If you’re planning on filling by paper, then it can take about 6 weeks! That is twice as long as online fillers.

If you’ve already been waiting for several weeks, then you can either go to your local office or call your state tax board directly. At least calling the government looking for your money is better than them calling you for money!

If you are worried about the location of your return, you can check on it by clicking on the links below. Most of these government sites will ask for your social security number, ZIP code, exact refund amount, and the numbers in your mailing address.
